What is a license?
A license is a formal permission granted by a copyright owner that allows another person or company to use a music track in authorized ways. The main purpose of a license is to protect the rights of the owner of a music track by ensuring that third parties can legally use their work.
Legio Sound & Music (LSM) is a production music library created by “LEGIO RAPAX” LLC, which offers music for various media formats. All LSM music is created specifically for professional use in film, television, advertising and any other media. It is a high quality, versatile and cost-effective option for your projects. Why license music?
Music, like any other creative work, is considered intellectual property. Using such property without proper authorization may violate copyright. Licensing ensures the legal use of a musical work.
“LEGIO RAPAX” LLC owns the copyright both on the representation, systematization and transformation of the data contained on the Site and on the original data. All materials placed on the site are the objects of copyright and related rights (Articles 1259, 1304 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation) and are protected by the civil legislation of the Russian Federation.
Any use of materials posted on the site is possible only with the consent of the right holder on the basis of a license agreement (Articles 1286, 1308 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
The use of materials placed on the site, without the consent of "LEGIO RAPAX" LLC is illegal (paragraph 4 of Art. 1252 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation) and entails civil, administrative, criminal responsibility in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
How much does the license cost?
The cost of a license to use a musical work may vary depending on many factors, including the type of audiovisual work (e.g., advertisement, film or television series), duration, geography of distribution, etc.
Licenses may be issued on a subscription basis and are limited to one year or multiple years. A subscription license permits unlimited use of recordings licensed during the license term for synchronization purposes.
You may also license our music on a pay-as-you-go basis. This will allow you to access tracks from our catalog, and then report to us and pay for only the requested tracks used based on the needs of the production.
