Dubstep

Dubstep is a musical genre that emerged in the early 2000s in South London as one of the offshoots of garage. In sound dubstep is characterized by a tempo of about 130-150 beats per minute, dominant low-frequency "wobble" (wobble) bass with the presence of sound distortion, as well as sparse breakbeat in the background - downtempo. The style is distinguished from the better known drum 'n' bass style by a sharp drum and snare drum, similar to hardstyle.
