Future Bass

Future Bass is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the 2010s from mixing elements of dubstep and electronic trap with warmer and less edgy rhythms. Criteria of the genre: Sound waves are often modulated using sidechain, automation, low-frequency oscillation, controlling the slices of the audio filter, amplitude of the wave, adjusting the shape of the wave (to create the so-called "wobbly"-effect of its parameters). In addition, a slightly "shimmering" gradual increase in pitch during "raisers" as well as arpeggio chords, vocal chops or vocoders is commonly used, BPMs range from 130 to 175, and compositions often use 4/4 size.
