Arom

French duo that existed until 2011. They have three full-length albums in their arsenal. Two of them are released on Label Cantroll. Their music is trip-hop and indie pop, created with the help of groovebox and synthesisers, constantly going into different sounds: trip-rock, soul or acid jazz under the "straight drum". The main thing is the vocals in French and English, somewhat reminiscent of Björk. The authors of the project are Dominik, responsible for the music and Caroline for the vocals. The name Arom is a combination of the letters of their names (cARoline and dOMinique). They first met in Paris in 1997, as students at the Conservatoire and Theatre University.
