Arom
France
A French duo that existed until 2011. They have three full-length albums in their arsenal. Two of them were released on Label Cantroll. Their music is trip-hop and indie pop, created with a groove box and synthesizers, constantly shifting into different sounds: trip-rock, soul, or acid jazz with a "straight kick." The main feature is vocals in French and English that somewhat resemble Björk. The project's creators are: Dominique, responsible for the music, and Caroline - vocals. The name Arom is a combination of letters from their names (cARoline and dOMinique). They first met in Paris in 1997, when they were students at the conservatory and theater university.
