KS Optionica

KS Optionica is a collaborative project between two musicians: Alexander Akhtyanov from Tula and Ksenia Zenkova from Vitebsk (Belarus). The project's sound interweaves multiple styles of electronic music, from ambient and downtempo to industrial, trip-hop, and IDM. KS's detached-melancholic vocals, the mystical atmosphere of psychedelic-abstract sound, and Optionica's authentic rhythms create a danceable-contemplative mood. The project is experimental in nature and does not limit itself to one electronic sound or style: plans include combining electronics with live instruments. The duo is released on the Belarusian label People Can Listen; two EPs were released in 2022, and a full-length album "In Our Eyes" was released in 2023.
