Since 2007, Paradeigma has been composing strange music that balances on several edges: non-trivial electronics that periodically mutate into abstract hip-hop or experimental downtempo with a touch of funk. There are no vocals in the tracks, yet the music often has an uplifting and creative mood. The main instruments are guitars, synthesizers, and samples from 1980s records. Occasionally there are vocal inserts, and great attention is paid to experiments with the rhythm section. Paradeigma is a trio, a duo, and a solo project; the only permanent member is Mark Shishlyov. Mark is also the founder and head of the Cantroll label. In the past, he organized large offline events in regions across Russia.
