Jiv Jago
The electronic mantra project Jiv Jago was formed in 2013 from an acoustic Vaishnava kirtan band. For 20 years, the founders of the project: Malati and Makkhonchor have been perfecting their playing on the mridangam, tampura, karatalas – traditional Bengali musical instruments. The vocalist of the project, Lila, joined the project later and mastered Russian and Greek folk.
