Anton Santosh

Anton Korenko (Santosh), Krasnoyarsk - musician, DJ, event organizer (concerts, open-airs, offsite workshops), and music teacher. A 2014 graduate in sound engineering from the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts. He first encountered the handpan in 2014 in Novosibirsk and was struck by its timbre and playing technique - a percussion instrument that can also carry melody. About six months later, in 2015, he obtained his first instrument. In spring 2016 he released his first solo album of handpan music titled ‘Awakening’. In spring-summer 2019 he worked in China with the handpan manufacturer StarHandpan and performed there. Anton is a regular guest in cities across Russia and has shared the stage with The Bhaktas (Germany), Matsumoto Zoku (Japan), Kabeção (Portugal), Nadishana (Germany), IVA (Russia), Kvadrate (Russia), HantProject (Russia), Tina Bem (Russia), and Limebridge (Russia). He was a member of the project EthnicVibes, a fusion of ethnic and contemporary electronic music. He has appeared at events such as Evening of Hang Music at the Organ Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic, Sounds of the Hang at the Small Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic, the Spirit of Time Festival in Krasnoyarsk, the Detalizatsiya Festival in Kemerovo, RAWA Festival in Barnaul, Baikal Yoga Festival in Irkutsk, the opening ceremony of mixed martial arts by Kunlun Fight in China, and the opening of StarHandpan in China
