Vladimir Takinov

Vladimir Takinov is a Russian composer and pianist, a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He began formal music training at age 6. His credits include the feature films ‘Feodosian Tale’ (2021), ‘Amanat’ (2022), and ‘Major in Sochi’ (2022); the TV series ‘Secrets of Family Life’ Season 2 and ‘Bison: The Mannequin Case’ (2023, Valery Todorovsky’s studio for Channel One Russia); as well as numerous short films and other projects. He had the honor of working with Maxim Dunaevsky as an arranger. Takinov has released more than 30 genre-spanning albums available on all streaming platforms. He completed conscript service with the Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense as an arranger, performed in two Red Square parades as an orchestral musician, and was awarded a medal. Finalist of the nationwide ArtMasters competition in the Media Composer category (2021).
