Nelidov
Alexey Stanislavovich Nelidov (born February 23, 1966) is a composer, arranger, lyricist, vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist. In 1988, after working with the bands "Music Magazine" and "Order", he was invited to join the band "Angels and Demons". With this band, he recorded two albums in English at the studio of Stas Namin in the early 1990s. The albums were well-received by critics and fans of rock music in the post-Soviet space. The first album, "Outlaw", sold well in Eastern Europe, and the second, "Melting Ice", was released on CDs and cassette tapes in Russia and other countries of the CIS.This was followed in 1996 by the release of the album "Tolerance", which received positive reviews from the music press in Russia and Europe. It was highly praised in the Metal Hammer magazine, and two years later it was reissued by an Italian company, which sold a significant number of copies in Europe. In 1999, I received an invitation from Alexey Belov, who, after Marshal's departure, formed the third lineup of the Gorky Park band. I joined as a vocalist and bassist, and we remained together for a year and a half before renaming the band to Belov Park. The album The Best of Nelidov 2022 is a diverse work, with tracks written and performed in various styles, ranging from rock and pop rock to complex compositions in the tradition of progressive rock, as well as multi-part ballads with an orchestral sound and a strong influence of classical music. In 2023, the Russian-language version of the song "Alley of Angels", written by Alexei Nelidov and dedicated to the children who died in Donbass, was released. In 2024, on May 9th, the song "Immortal Regiment", based on the poems of Olga Staya and produced by Nikita Shashnev, was also released. Currently, I continue to work as an instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and arranger for various genres of music, including songs and instrumental compositions. My work is intended for use in presentations, the film industry, and other areas of show business. I write and record turnkey songs and compositions for singers and films.
