IN'R'VOICE
A legend of the Electronic dance scene in Russia and the UK. Growing up in a musical family, Danny became interested in Electronic music very early. Records by Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Skinny Puppy appeared in his collection back in the mid 80's when he was in high school. With the emergence of Acid House and Rave culture in 1988, Danny decided to commit himself to this music. In 1993 his project “Inner Voice” appeared on the radio station Maximum in DJ Fonarev's program “Dance Academy”, steadily occupying the top lines in his hit parade “Damn Dozen”. In 1995, the Artiada Artistic Festival under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in Moscow awarded his project “Inner Voice” the title of winner in the nomination “For innovations in music for youth” for the composition Ne Voules Vous Pas..., which includes elements of classical music, put on the musical basis of modern at that time Techno sound. In 1995 Danny moved to London, where he witnessed the peak of the rapidly developing avant-garde underground rave movement. His first LP was released on the legendary “Return To The Source” label under the title “Present Moment” with London's Shakta \ Kaya Project and Electric Tease. After releasing about 30 singles on London labels: Dragonfly, Sphere, Optica, Distance, Kukomi, Jumpin'n'Pumpin and many other top UK labels at the time, Optica signed him to a record label for several albums. The first In'R'Voice double CD album “Resonance Metaphizix” was recorded and prepared for publication at the world famous Abbey Road studios in 2002. In 2003 Danny recorded a remix of the Russian rock project Mumiy Troll's song “My Singer”, and it was released in the single “My Singer/ Other Places” on the Russian label Real Records. By 2005 Denny's music discography passed the mark of the first hundred, and he releases under the pseudonym Den Kozlov double album “Digital Shamanism” on Optica label. The second disc of the album was a recording of a concert at St. Cyprien's Church in London, as part of the experimental concert series “Music for the 3rd Millennium”, which was organized by legendary British electronic musicians White Noise and Mark Jenkins. In'R'Voice's third double album “The Scent Of Russian Dream” became the album of the year according to London's dance music publications, and was sold as an Import in London's legendary HMV store next to Madonna and Björk albums, a rare event for underground Electronica. In 2008 Danny released several albums under the pseudonym Den Kozlov on one of the biggest labels for Electronic music - New York publishing house “System Recordings” (albums “Do You See What I See” and “Infrangible Duality”). The third album “Inexplicable Premonition”, on the label's recommendation, Danny recorded with Grammy nominee, Boston jazz diva Samantha Farrell. Over the next ten years, Danny started three of his own publishing houses - Techno label Retrigg Records and multi-genre Electronic Dance Music (EDM) sub-label RDTR label, both based out of Proton Radio / Sound System in San Francisco, and the legendary Dub Techno label Ubertrend Records based out of Beatrising distribution in Berlin. To this day, publishing activities and publishing-related events with the participation of the label's artists in top Moscow clubs are actively carried out. In 2014 In'r'voice became a resident of the cult European label Cosmicleaf Records and released 8 full-length albums and 9 singles, including collaborations with such famous European musicians as Zero Cult, Side Liner, Dense and 4th Dimention. One of the most successful was the release on the American label Rave Up Alley under the title “Silver Lining\ Edge of the Day”.
