Ilya Hype
The union of Ilya Hype and forest duo “Somewhere There” pleases with a fresh combination of electronic and guitar music with a weighty share of new folk. The result can be equally attributed to several genres at once and labeled as indie-folk. The work combines the psychedelic spirit of “Woodstock” and “Burning man” festivals and even our already legendary “Empty Hills” with the vibe of Ibiza's dawn after-parties. Before this collaboration, the forest duo had not dealt with electronic music at all, decorating neofolk with 70s-inspired guitar passages.
