North Mile

Izhevsk folk band “Northern Mile” - released their second album “Do You Remember”. First of all, let's note the amazingly high-quality production. It was probably not easy - considering the variety of instruments used - all kinds of violins, double basses and percussion. Secondly, let's enjoy the bright and colorful play of genre and arrangement solutions - from a kind of raw folk in the song “Shedding a Tear”, through the world-music number “Do You Remember” and the neoclassical double bass solo in “Prelude in D Minor” to the energetic indie of “Dance for One” and, finally, at the end we'll find catharsis with the powerful psychedelic “Caravan”. And thirdly, and this is the most important thing, we have a very warm and sincere music, which is simply interesting to listen to. This is music that gives joy and unites: it's not without reason that good half of Izhevsk musicians took part in the album creation - each track represents one or another collaboration, and such a unifying approach to creativity is especially dear to our project.
