TESTO
TESTO mixes authentic folklore and live contemporary music. The band has performed at dozens of festivals, from Wild Mint to Systo and Fairy Tale. TESTO feels comfortable at a folk festival, a forest trance fest, and the Culture Channel. Jungle, psychedelic funk, jazz hip-hop, dub and Latin American percussion are the basis of the project's sound. Vocalist Ekaterina Vozzhayeva, an ethnomusicologist with a conservatory education, is responsible for the folklore component. Together we get a lively and modern music with its own character, where folk song fully interacts with music.
