Yarga
Yarga is a folk-metal band that combines elements of folklore and heavy sound. The band's creativity is based on the origins of Slavic culture. With their songs Yarga tries to bring to the listeners the forgotten epoch in the life of Ancient Russia, using both historical facts and folk tales about the life of Slavic people, their attitude to life, nature and traditions. The first work of group became a mini album “We go on Tsargrad” which is devoted to a campaign of Prophetic Oleg on Byzantium. During the writing of the album the group was guided by the surviving chronicles, as well as scientific works of historians. Despite the fact that the album has only three songs according to the results of voting in the “Folk & Viking Metal” folder, it became the main release of November 2017!
