I started writing songs back in school in 2000, mostly about love and dreams. In the fall of 2008, I discovered the Caravan of Love of the Sun Bards with their principle: “You live what you sing about.” Their songs resonated with me, and I wanted to perform my own. On February 2, 2009, during a road trip, my first “sun” song was born — “Milaya”. The Caravan musicians helped with accompaniment and chords, and soon it was performed at concerts and later recorded for a joint album.
