Mr Peel
Created by Fabien Chiloup, Mr. Peel is a studio project. He is a multi-instrumentalist, but constantly works with session musicians from different countries, so each album involves 10 or more people. The guest musicians perform on a wide variety of instruments: double bass, guitars, harmonica, Indian flute, trumpet, Hammond organ, synthesizers and various percussion. Vintage instruments are also used: Farfisa Organ Duo and EMS Synthi VCS3 synthesizers, Fender Rhodes MKI electric piano, Wem Watkins Copicat and Roland RE201 effects pedals. The songs feature mostly female vocals in English, but there are also instrumental tracks and songs with male vocals.
