Katya Barcelona is an author, singer, and poet. Katya's songs are in the pop-rock genre with ethnic elements. The singer herself says about herself: "Rock and its varieties most vividly reveal my vocal and emotional potential, and ethno inclusions seem to excite ancient roots in me." Katya was born and raised in Moscow and began to show interest in singing since childhood, but consciously began to immerse herself in music in 2008. To date, Katya Barcelona has released 6 singles as an independent solo artist, and about 30 tracks in other projects as a vocalist and author. The singer shot a video for her single "Around You", which won the Star of the People radio contest on one of the federal radio stations. In 2023, with the support of radio DJ and producer Vladimir Kurakolov, she created an audio podcast on musical themes "Barcelona for You", and in 2024 she released a collection of poems "Twelve Bows to the sun in front of a cave with a jaguar". The main theme in the work of Katya Barcelona is love in its various forms, meanings and depths. Katya Barcelona's music is available on all digital platforms. At the same time, Katya Barcelona works in the New Planet music group, where she is the frontwoman, the author of the concept and some songs. In the spring of 2025, the band released an album. However, Katya continues to move forward in the development of her solo work.
