VO SKORBYAH is a Russian funeral doom project from Rybinsk (Upper Volga, Yaroslavl region). It was created in 2005, and released an album of the same name in 2007. The basis of the project's creativity is a combination of traditional funeral ritual lamentations of the Russian North and heavy guitar sound. 12 years after its dissolution in 2009, having felt the strength and freedom to continue what was unfinished and go further, the project was recreated in May 2021.
